WVU Summer Classes

Take advantage of the thousands of courses WVU offers on- and off-campus. You can earn credits through traditional classes, online classes, internships, or independent study. The Summer Session runs May 18 – August 6, 2009. Visit WVU Summer Session for more information.

Add a Minor

Earn a minor from home this summer. Ten minors are available through online classes.

Adventure WV

The Adventure WV Program is a unique outdoor orientation for first-year students at WVU. It offers participants diverse experiences and opportunities to learn about themselves, future classmates, WVU, and West Virginia. Participants will earn 3 credits upon successful completion of the program, which is an alternative for University 101 (a required course).

Community Arts Summer Classes

Institute for Labor Studies and Research Programs & Conferences

Lifetime Activities Program

Stay active, get fit, or learn a new skill through the Lifetime Activities Program, a community-based, service-oriented program operated by the School of Physical Education. Classes are offered in aquatics, martial arts, dance, fitness and wellness, and more. More Information
